This carefully curated day is for women who want to step away from the noise and confusions of modern wellness and rediscover a calmer, more trusting relationship with food, movement and themselves.
Saturday 21st November 10.30am – 5pm
So many of us spend years trying to control our bodies:
Over time it’s easy to lose touch with the very signals designed to guide us.
Nourish & Notice is an invitation to do the opposite.
Together we’ll spend a day slowing down, becoming curious and rediscovering what it feels like to trust your body again and feel in control.
✔ You’re tired of not trusting your body.
✔ You’d love to enjoy food without constantly second-guessing yourself.
✔ You know what you think you ‘should’ be doing – but struggle to make it feel natural.
✔ You feel a sense of disconnection between your mind and your body
✔ You’re craving a day that’s nourishing in every sense of the word.
Set in the heart of beautiful Bath, Nourish & Notice unfolds across three carefully chosen locations. As we journey together through the city, we’ll chat, eat, walk, move and restore – discovering how slowing down and tuning into our bodies can transform our relationship with food, movement and ourselves.
We begin our journey around the table. Together we’ll explore how simple, satisfying food and a deeper understanding of the psychology behind our eating habits can help us reconnect with our bodies, moving beyond rules and restrictions towards greater confidence, enjoyment and trust.
Nourishment isn’t just about food. As we stroll through the heart of Bath, we’ll slow our pace, engage our senses and discover how noticing more and the simple rituals of everyday life can help us feel calmer and more grounded.
We end our journey by bringing curiosity and awareness into the body through movement, breath and deep relaxation – leaving you feeling more connected and at peace with your relationship with food, movement and yourself.
Whilst most wellbeing experiences promise relaxation and the opportunity to step away from it all, do you find reality is still there waiting for you when we get home? It’s lovely and all, but it does it help in a meaningful way?
You may enjoy a delicious salad whilst lounging in a dressing gown, but is that really what healthy is?
Reset this. Detox that. Optimise everything.
In a world full of nutrition headlines, wellness trends and endless advice, it’s easy to lose touch with the one voice that matters most: your own.
Nourish & Notice begins from a different place.
Rather than giving you more rules to follow, or indeed a kale smoothie, we want to help you develop something far more valuable: a deeper understanding of yourself and the habits that make you.
We don’t believe your body is something to battle with or constantly optimise. We believe it’s something to understand, on a Monday morning and a Friday night and all the other versions of you in between.
Throughout the day, we’ll explore how food, movement and rest can be approached in a more nourishing and sustainable way.
This isn’t about changing everything overnight.
It’s about noticing something different.
Because when we become more curious about our bodies instead of constantly trying to control them, something begins to shift.
And that’s the work that stays with us long after the day is over.
Our hope isn’t simply that you enjoy a beautiful day in Bath.
It’s that you’ll return home with a different lens through which to see yourself.
One that helps you…
For over 25 years I’ve helped people navigate the often overwhelming world of nutrition.
What I’ve learnt is that most women don’t need more information.
They’ve already read the books, listened to the podcasts and followed countless nutrition trends. They know they “should” eat more vegetables, more protein or less sugar.
What they’re really struggling with is something much deeper.
They’ve lost confidence in their bodies and their decisions.
Years of conflicting advice, diet culture, busy lives and the constant pressure to optimise every aspect of our health can leave us disconnected from the very signals designed to guide us.
That’s why my work has never been about handing out meal plans or telling people what they should eat.
Instead, I help women understand their bodies, build confidence around food and develop habits that feel realistic, nourishing and sustainable.
Together with a carefully chosen team of collaborators, I’ve created a day that weaves together food, movement and the senses, not as separate experiences, but as different ways of reconnecting with yourself.
My hope is that you’ll leave with practical ideas, renewed confidence and, perhaps most importantly, a gentler relationship with your body.
Throughout the day, each guide brings their own expertise to a different chapter of the journey, creating an experience that is both practical and deeply restorative.
The most important thing you’ll take home isn’t a recipe or an exercise. It’s a different relationship with yourself.
The goal isn’t to become a better version of yourself. It’s to reconnect with the person you’ve been all along.
We’ll meet in the heart of Bath and journey together through three beautiful spaces across the city, finishing the day feeling calmer, more connected and thoroughly nourished.
We’ll begin the day at Persephone Books with tea, coffee and a warm welcome before setting the scene for the day ahead.
Laura and Fern will guide you through a curious look at the psychology of our eating habits together with a practical cookery demo, weaving together simple and effective concepts with conversations around nourishment, confidence, satisfaction and reconnecting with your body’s signals.
We’ll then share a relaxed lunch around the table.
After lunch we’ll take a gentle walk through Bath, allowing time to chat, reflect and enjoy the city at a slower pace.
We’ll pause at Bramley, where you’ll connect with your senses and learn how to create moments of calm within everyday life.
We’ll continue our journey to Robyn’s Yoga Studio, where Specialist Physiotherapist Claire will guide us through a gentle movement session designed to improve body awareness, flexibility and confidence in movement.
You’ll discover practical ways to reconnect with your posture, breathing and deep stabilising muscles, alongside simple movement strategies you can take into everyday life.
We’ll finish the day with a deeply relaxing restorative session led by Robyn, incorporating gentle breathwork, supported relaxation and a soothing sound bath.
A chance to pause, absorb the day and leave feeling restored.

It sounds great, doesn’t it? But if there’s a little niggle in your head please be assured:
You don’t need any previous experience or particular skills, just an openness to explore things in a different way than perhaps you’ve come across before.
It’s a small safe space in which you can share as little or as much as you feel comfortable.
Simply come as you are, wearing comfortable clothes, ready to embrace the opportunity to slow down, become curious and reconnect with yourself.
Because this is an intimate experience with just 12 places, we’ve chosen to offer a small number of reduced-price places for those who book early.
We’ll provide everything you’ll need throughout the day, including refreshments and lunch.
Why not bring a friend who you think would enjoy it too?
Full joining instructions, what to wear and where to meet will be sent after booking.
Please note, this day will involve climbing stairs and both venues and a short walk through the city.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, we’ll ask for these when you reserve your place.
If you’re travelling to Bath and need parking or accommodation recommendations or support with logistics, just let me know.
If you have any questions before booking, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—I’d love to hear from you.
Perhaps this is your invitation to spend one day putting yourself back at the centre of your own wellbeing.
If you’ve been longing to step away from the noise for a while – to spend a day learning, reflecting and reconnecting with yourself – perhaps this is your invitation. We’d love to welcome you to Bath for a day that we hope will stay with you long after you return home.
Not at all. In fact, we imagine many women will join us on their own. With just 12 places, the day has been designed to feel warm, welcoming and conversational from the moment you arrive.
The day has been created with women in midlife in mind, but the themes of nourishment, body awareness and reconnecting with yourself are relevant to women at many stages of life.
The venues are all within central Bath and connected by a gentle walk through the city, which forms part of the experience. If you have any concerns about mobility, please get in touch before booking.
We understand that sometimes life doesn’t go to plan. If you’re no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
More than 28 days before the event: you’ll receive a full refund.
14–28 days before the event: we’ll refund 50% of your booking if we’re unable to fill your place.
Less than 14 days before the event: unfortunately we’re unable to offer refunds, as we’ll have committed to venue, catering and facilitator costs.
You’re very welcome to transfer your place to a friend if you can no longer attend. Simply let us know their name, email address and any dietary requirements before the event.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel Nourish & Notice, you’ll be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future event.
Absolutely. We’ll ask about allergies and dietary requirements when you book so we can accommodate these wherever possible.
Yes, the plan is to run Nourish & Notice Days at other times of the year, so if you’re interested in a future event, please do let us know!
