Food feels more complicated than it used to.
Weight feels harder to manage.
And the constant stream of advice leaves you second-guessing yourself at every turn.
You might start the day with good intentions, only to feel unsure by lunchtime. Questions about what to eat, how much or whether to fast mean choices that once felt instinctive now feel oddly loaded. The same doubt creeps into movement too, questioning what you should be doing, whether it’s enough, and carrying a quiet guilt about what you haven’t managed lately.
By the evening, when you’re tired and your brain has had enough, you find yourself scrolling. Looking for something that promises a bit of peace or clarity. Perhaps a post hooks you in, offering you another plan with a fool-proof solution. There’s a little part of you though that doesn’t like the thought of yet another voice telling you what you should be doing.
You may have tried many things, investing your time, energy and hope. Perhaps you learnt a lot, yet still feel stuck; still thinking about food more than you want to; still feeling like the calm you’re chasing stays just out of reach.
There’s a quiet exhaustion that comes with all of this. It’s not always obvious but it is constant. The sense of carrying far more mental load than anyone can see.
And underneath it all is the growing realisation that what used to work… just doesn’t anymore.
This isn’t a lack of information. It’s being left to navigate all of it on your own, in a body that’s changing.
Not least because the menopausal transition often brings more noise, more contradiction and more pressure to “fix” yourself. But trying harder, restricting more or constantly starting again, rarely brings the results or the relief you’re looking for.
The problem isn’t you.
It’s that most approaches keep us trapped between being ‘good’ or being ‘bad’ – we’re either ‘on’ the wagon or ‘off’ it. A wagon that’s never designed for the realities of midlife, real bodies or real lives.
The Anchor Collective approach is different, because it’s built for the life you’re actually living, with all the noise and mess and competing demands that come with it.
Do you recognise yourself here?
This isn’t a lack of willpower; it’s what happens when capable women are carrying a lot, without the kind of support this season actually needs.
What if, instead of pushing harder, you gave yourself steadier, compassionate guidance?
The coaching, toolkits and support inside The Anchor Collective offer a calmer way forward, working with the natural rhythms of midlife and real life.
It was created for women like you, who care deeply about their health and are ready to stop second-guessing themselves. Anxieties about a body that’s changing can feel unsettling and it’s hard to make sense of what to do about it.
Midlife isn’t a problem to fix, but it is a season of change. One that affects how you eat, move, think, feel and care for yourself. Trying to tackle all of that at once often adds to the overwhelm rather than easing it.
The Anchor Collective helps you create the conditions where your body weight can regulate more effectively, and nourishing habits feel sustainable over time.
Here, nourishment isn’t about rules or restriction, it’s about rebuilding trust in your body, calming the food noise and feeling anchored in daily habits, one season at a time. The tone throughout is practical, reassuring and human.
The Anchor Collective is built around four core anchors that come together through self-paced learning, individual check-ins, group coaching support and live expert sessions.
You don’t need to wait until everything feels calmer to deserve support. Sometimes having support is what helps life feel calmer. With thoughtful guidance, warmth, realism and room to smile at the messiness of real life, we look at:
The Anchor Collective is led by Laura Clark and intentionally shaped by a small, trusted team of experts who understand the realities of midlife and guide you from multiple angles.
Each brings depth across nutrition, movement, emotional wellbeing and food confidence, so support feels steady, joined-up and human.
I’ve sat across from women like you for over 25 years and what I’ve learned has very little to do with willpower or doing things “properly”.
By midlife, many women have tried a lot. Plans, rules, resets and programmes that promise clarity but often leave more confusion in their wake. Weight, health and worth become tangled together, shaped by a culture that insists we fix ourselves rather than understand ourselves.
What I see in clinic, again and again, are capable women doing their best, carrying a huge mental load and quietly losing trust in themselves along the way.
I created the Anchor Collective in response to what I was seeing every day.
It’s designed to feel like a nourishing exhale. Real-life guidance that meets you where you are. Collective support that helps you feel held rather than alone. And a seasonal rhythm that brings flow instead of urgency. I’d love to have you as part of it.
Claire is a core part of the Anchor Collective, supporting its direction and depth as a trusted co-pilot. Her role is woven throughout, as a steady, familiar presence.
Claire supports members to:
She contributes seasonal movement-focused toolkits, group coaching and helps ensure the Collective supports the body as well as the mind, gently and realistically.
Suzy supports the emotional and psychological side of midlife across all four seasons of the Collective.
Her work helps you:
Suzy’s sessions are filled with practical take aways, designed to help you feel more you again; confident, capable and allowed to take up space.
Fern supports the practical, everyday side of nourishment, especially when food feels tiring, effortful or overwhelming.
Her approach helps you:
Fern’s work is about skill and freedom, helping food feel supportive rather than another thing to manage. We get together in her kitchen and I have permission to ask stupid questions, so we all walk away with actionable tips and seasonal inspiration.
Each woman brings deep expertise, but they all share the same philosophy:
Calm over chaos
Support over pressure
Confidence over control
Each season is intentionally guided by this shared expertise, supporting the whole of you from every angle as you move through the year and this season of life.
Inside the Anchor Collective, support is offered through regular, reassuring touchpoints throughout each month.
Deliberately designed to fit into small pockets of time, monthly toolkits sent to you via email, give you direction and focus for the month ahead. A little perspective and clarity on what to give some attention to, when time is short and demands feel high.
Mid-month there’s an email check-in from Laura. A chance to reflect and notice what’s been coming up for you. Think of it as a virtual hand hold reaching out from the busy inbox.
Responses to check-ins help to steer the coaching session themes that happen at the end of the month.
Then there’s the live expert sessions – less webinar, more kitchen table. You can come with a question or just listen. Either is fine. It’s recorded if life gets in the way.
All live sessions are recorded, and many members join from different time zones or busy working lives, so you can engage in a way that fits your schedule.
The intention is simple: to offer one meaningful anchor at a time, so support feels steady rather than overwhelming.
So instead of feeling like you’re constantly trying to get back on track, you’re supported in a way that makes life feel lighter and more manageable as you go.
Many women arrive at the Anchor Collective after years of trying to do things “properly”.
Prescriptive plans. Clear rules. A sense that this time they’ll be more disciplined, more consistent, more like the version of themselves they think they should be.
It usually starts with good intentions, but quickly turns into pressure. When life gets busy or energy dips, the plan slips, and what’s left is guilt, frustration and the familiar feeling of having failed again.
The Anchor Collective offers a different way.
Rather than overloading you with another to-do list or asking you to change everything at once, support unfolds gently, season by season. Each season has a clear focus, so you’re not trying to fix everything, just paying attention to what matters now.
Instead of fighting habits or judging yourself for having them, you’re supported to understand them. Because every habit underneath it all is trying to solve a problem. When you start from curiosity rather than criticism, change becomes far less effortful.
This is where the toolkits really make a difference. They help you name what’s going on, make sense of it, and try small, realistic shifts that fit your real life. You’re no longer chasing an ideal version of yourself, you’re working with who you actually are.
Food choices feel calmer. Decisions take up less mental space. The constant sense of “I should be doing more” starts to fade. You feel steadier, clearer and more trusting of yourself, without having had to push, restrict or overhaul your life.
This collective meets you in the beautiful messiness of real life, and makes it feel easier to move forward.
A place where the science is translated into real life.
Where your changing body is understood.
Where nutrition, mindset and movement work together.
Where support arrives steadily instead of all at once.

Toolkits are at the heart of the Anchor Collective.
They tackle the day-to-day issues that drain energy and headspace; things like nutrition confusion, food doubt, meal stress, evening habits and decision fatigue.
Each toolkit includes:
They’re designed to support you where life actually happens, not in an ideal week.
Meals will start feeling simpler, the food noise quietens. You’ll stop second guessing yourself and you’ll finally trust your own judgement.
When you join The Anchor Collective, whatever the season, you don’t have to wait for things to “kick off”.
You’ll begin with immediate access to your first four Anchor toolkits, designed to relieve some of the most common pressure points women face in midlife and offer a calmer alternative to set you up to win.

Support should feel steady and right, not something you feel stuck with.
Midlife asks a lot of women.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
If you’re looking for evidence-based guidance, compassionate support and a calmer relationship with food, your body and yourself…
We’d love to welcome you into the Anchor Collective.
One of the joys of building The Anchor Collective is connecting with like-minded brands who share our belief that wellbeing doesn’t come from quick fixes, but from the small, thoughtful choices we make every day.
The brands you’ll find here have been chosen because they genuinely align with the values of The Anchor Collective. They’re businesses I know, trust and am happy to recommend, and many have kindly offered exclusive benefits for our members. Alongside products, you may also find collaborations, seasonal events and shared inspiration as these relationships grow. My hope is that, over time, this becomes a carefully curated collection of brands, ideas and experiences that help make everyday nourishment and wellbeing feel just that little bit easier.
A beautifully grounded British brand centred around botanical wellbeing, seasonality and simple rituals of self-care.
Thoughtfully prepared, dietitian-designed meals that make nourishing yourself feel easier, even on the busiest of days.
The Anchor Collective is not a weight loss programme.
Many women notice changes in weight over time as a quiet by-product of some deeper work. The primary focus is on helping you feel calmer, more nourished in your daily habits and less at odds with your body. When food noise reduces, habits feel more supportive and stress is lower, weight often becomes less of a battleground.
Rather than chasing weight loss through restriction or pressure, the Collective supports sustainable habits that prioritise health, wellbeing and self-trust in midlife.
No. The Anchor Collective has a group focus, with questions answered in a group setting.
What it offers is steady, expert-led support, regular opportunities to ask questions, and guidance that helps you apply ideas to your own life, without the intensity or cost of one-to-one coaching.
Many members describe it as the next best thing to individual support, but with more flexibility and less pressure.
It is possible to bolt on some one off 1-1 sessions when inside the Collective but if you’re looking for personalised therapeutic support, one-to-one work through The Anchor Programme may be a better fit.
Yes. Many women using GLP-1 medications find the content and vibe within Anchor Collective offers valuable support alongside their medical care.
While GLP-1s can affect appetite and eating patterns, they don’t address the emotional, psychological and day-to-day challenges that often come with long-term weight and health journeys, particularly in midlife.
The Collective supports you to:
build trust in your body as eating cues change
navigate food, routines and nourishment with less anxiety
reduce all-or-nothing thinking around eating and habits
feel steadier and more grounded as things shift
The Anchor Collective doesn’t replace medical guidance, but it can provide a calm, compassionate foundation that helps you feel more supported and less alone while you find your footing.
Yes.
The Anchor Collective is designed for women navigating midlife changes, whether you’re perimenopausal, postmenopausal, or simply noticing that what used to work around food, energy and wellbeing no longer feels quite right.
You don’t need a diagnosis or a specific label to benefit from this kind of support.
This is exactly who the Collective is designed for.
Support is intentionally light-touch and flexible. There’s no expectation to attend everything live, no homework, and no pressure to “keep up”.
You can dip into what’s most useful, when it suits you. All live sessions are recorded, all toolkits are easy to grab when you need them most with many members engaging around work, family life and busy schedules.
You can’t fall behind.
There’s no start or finish line inside the Collective. You’re encouraged to take what you need, when you need it.
Many members return to toolkits and sessions over time, using them as steady anchors rather than tasks to complete.
If you join for a season, you’ll have access to that season’s content for the full duration of your membership.
If you join for the full year, you’ll have access to all four seasons while your membership is active.
Details around ongoing access will be clearly shared when you join.
If you join for one season, your access simply ends at the end of that season.
If you join for the full year, the membership runs for 12 months.
If you’ve joined for the full year, but realise after a season that it’s not for you, you are welcome to reach out for a partial refund.
No.
Most women who join already have plenty of information. What they’re missing is steady, compassionate support that helps them apply things in real life, without pressure or perfection.
The Anchor Collective is about helping things feel calmer, lighter and more manageable, not giving you more to think about.
If you’re tired of starting again, second-guessing yourself and feeling like food and health take up more mental space than they should, you’ll likely feel at home here.
If you’re looking for rigid plans, strict rules or fast results at any cost, this probably isn’t the right place.
